Helmet

In British Columbia, snowmobile operators and passengers must wear a securely fastened helmet only if the snowmobile is:

• Being operated on the Gold Rush Snowmobile Trail or...
• Crossing a Forest Service road.

Even though a helmet is not required otherwise on Crown Land, you should wear one to help prevent serious injury whenever you are operating a snowmobile.
