It is created from aerial photographs. It reveals contours of the land, such as hills, valleys, lakes, rivers, and roads.
Selecting a Trail Map
To make sure you know where you can operate your snowmobile legally, get a trail map like the one below. Be sure that it shows the locations of designated trails and routes.
