Snowmobile Trespass
As a representative of the snowmobile community, you must be respectful of private property and never trespass upon land owned by another person. Just because you see tracks, it does not necessarily mean you can go there. Always check before operating off the designated trail system. A person may not operate a snowmobile:
- On any farmland or field unless under the person's control or an invited guest.
- On any property posted as private property.
- On any fenced property.
- On land owned by a utility company that restricts public access.
- On railroad property or railroad right-of-way. Additionally, a person may only cross railroad tracks at a designated road crossing.
