Reporting Accidents

The operator of a snowmobile involved in an accident must immediately, and by the quickest means possible, notify a state police officer, the sheriff’s office in the county where the accident occurred, or the local police department if:

• A person dies or disappears or...
• A person is injured or...
• Damage to the property is $100 or more.
