Equipment Requirements

Equip Properly means you may not operate a snowmobile:

• Between one-half hour after sunset and one-half hour before sunrise without displaying at least one headlight and one taillight.
• Unless it has brakes capable of slowing the snowmobile at a rate of 14 feet per second when operating on level ground at an initial speed of 20 miles per hour.
• Without a muffler in good working condition.
