Meeting Snowmobile Safety Equipment Regulations

Your snowmobile must have the following equipment:

• At least one white headlight and one red taillight that are lighted at all times while the snowmobile is being operated. The lights must be visible from a distance of 500 feet between sunset and sunrise.
• A braking system in good mechanical condition.
• Reflective material, at least 16 square inches in size, attached to both sides of the cowling.
• Adequate sound suppression equipment.
