Snowmobile Registration
Every snowmobile owner must register the vehicle with the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC) and obtain a registration certificate before the snowmobile is used or operated. The registration certificate must be carried on the snowmobile at all times while the vehicle is being operated.

- A completed application and...
- The registration fee and...
- The transfer/tax form.
Upon receipt of the application and fee, the ICBC will issue a registration certificate and two numbered owner’s decals. The owner’s decals must be attached to:
- Each side of the snowmobile’s cowl forward of the handlebars or...
- In a highly visible place on each side of the snowmobile.
For more registration information and to find a licencing office, visit the ICBC website or call 604-661-6611.
