Brakes and Muffler

Brakes

The braking system must be capable of bringing the snowmobile to a stop, under normal conditions, within 9 metres when traveling at a speed of 30 kilometres per hour on a level, dry, smooth, hard-surfaced road.

Muffler

The muffler must be in good working condition, be in constant operation, and must ensure the exhaust does not make excessive noise.
